READING PAEDOPHILE STUART RAYMOND ROSE ADMITS CHILD GROOMING OFFENCES
A man has pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and trying to meet a girl under the age of 16 following grooming.Stuart Raymond Rose appeared before Reading Magistrates’ Court on 15 October 2025, where he admitted two offences under child protection and grooming legislation.
The first charge related to an adult attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, and the second involved an attempt to meet a girl under 16 following grooming activity.
Rose was released on conditional bail following his plea, pending the preparation of reports to assist the court in determining his sentence.
The case has been adjourned until 24 November 2025, when Rose will return to Reading Magistrates’ Court for sentencing.
The proceedings were led by Thames Valley Police, and the case correspondence was handled by the Witness Care Unit on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
