JOHN BIELBY OF SCARBOROUGH AVOIDS PRISON AFTER INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN CASE
In September 2017, John Bielby, 71, of Filey Road in Scarborough, was sentenced for making indecent images of children.
He received a 26-week prison sentence, which was suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to complete up to 25 days of rehabilitation.
The offences occurred at his former home in Rawson Way, Hornsea, and involved a total of 101 images created between 2008 and 2016.
Bielby was also required to register as a sex offender for seven years and was subjected to a sexual harm prevention order lasting five years.
Additionally, he was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £115 surcharge.
