JARRID DUFF SENTENCED IN DUMFRIES FOR HORRIFIC SEXUAL ASSAULT ON TEENAGER

A 25-year-old man named Jarrid Duff, who committed a disturbing sexual assault in Dumfries, has been handed a significant prison sentence after admitting to the heinous acts. The incident, which took place on January 13 at a residence in Dumfries, involved the assault and rape of a 14-year-old girl. In court proceedings held at the High Court in Glasgow, Duff pleaded guilty to charges of assault and rape. His guilty plea resulted in a reduction of his initial sentence, which would have been ten years, to a seven-year term. Additionally, he was ordered to be supervised for three years following his release from prison.
