MAN CHARGED WITH SERIOUS OF VIOLENT OFFENCES
Jamie Williams faces multiple criminal charges including causing serious injury, stalking, coercive and controlling behavior, as well as deliberately strangling and suffocating a victim.He is also accused of making threats to kill, committing theft, and two counts of criminal damage.
The alleged incidents are believed to have occurred between 2023 and 2026 in Corringham.
The 25-year-old, who resides on Langstone Road in Portsmouth, was located within the city on 17 May.
Following his arrest, he was taken to Essex for questioning.
Williams has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 19 May.
His case will be heard at Basildon Crown Court at a later date, with proceedings expected to begin in the week starting 15 June.
