JAMES PRYTHERCH OF ST HELENS SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
In November 2019, a man from St Helens was handed a significant prison sentence after being convicted of multiple serious child sex offences.James Prytherch, aged 33 and residing on Cheviot Avenue in St Helens, faced the court to answer for a series of disturbing allegations involving a minor.
During the proceedings at Liverpool Crown Court, Prytherch pleaded guilty to a total of 16 counts that included engaging in sexual activity with a child, communicating sexually with a minor, and grooming the victim.
These charges highlight a pattern of predatory behavior that spanned over a period of time, causing considerable concern for community safety and the protection of vulnerable children.
Following his admission of guilt, the court sentenced Prytherch to six years in prison, reflecting the gravity of his offences.
