PAEDO RAPED A CHILD, FILMED IT, AND SHARED IT TO OTHER PAEDOS ONLINE
It's difficult to imagine such sick depravity.But here it is.
42 year-old Jaifar Trigwell from Darlington raped a child, videoed the rape, and shared it online to paedophiles.
The vile paedo has now been jailed for 31 years.
The victim’s mother gave a tearful impact statement as she faced her child’s tormentor in court.
She said when she found out “my world imploded.
The agonising pain that came over me, I will never be able to explain.
“My trust for everyone has gone and the pain is indescribable - my heart breaks every time I look at them.
“What he has done will affect us for the rest of our lives.” Recorder Nicholas Lumley, sitting at Teesside Crown Court, branded the pervert’s abuse as sickening as he locked him up 21 years and issued him with an additional ten years on extended licence.
He said: “She is very obviously vulnerable.
Online you boasted of what you had done, to other paedophiles.
“You were trying as best as you could to hide what you had done, but you were found out, thanks to the diligence of the police in catching people like you.
“This is offending of the most serious kind.” He continued: “She was particularly vulnerable and extremely naïve.
“How she will ever erase that from her mind – it would be a miracle if she ever did.
“This is one of the most serious crimes of its kind in this court.” Last week, the court heard how the 42-year-old’s abuse came to an end when he boasted about his sickening behaviour to an undercover police officer in an online chatroom.
Paul Cleasby, prosecuting, said in the chat he said he wanted to meet up with other people and denied that he was simply fantasising about his actions.
“The defendant said he was not and appeared to get irritated,” he said.
“He suggested that if the officer was just after fantasy, then the defendant was not interested in chatting to them further.” The defendant was traced to his home address and his digital devices were seized and examined where officers found indecent images of children including ones that he had created himself.
Trigwell, pleaded guilty to four counts of rape of a child, two counts of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity and four counts relating to indecent images.
Philip Morley, mitigating, said his client had dismissed the claim he made that he was forced to engage in the sexual abuse of the child in his pre-sentence report.
He added: “I have spoken to him about it and he says he was trying to explain that he was influenced by people in the chatrooms but he was not suggesting in anyway that he was forced, threatened or coerced into tis offending.
“He fully accepts the offending and doesn’t seek to minimise what he has done.
“He did describe his offences, in his own words, as disgusting.”
