Jadgar Singh, a man aged 68, has admitted guilt to two serious charges of sexual assault that took place in Prestwick. The incidents, which occurred on November 16, 2024, have sent shockwaves through the local community and are now under review in Ayr Sheriff Court.

According to court reports, Singh's assault began after he encountered two teenage girls on Prestwick Road. The girls had just stolen two ice creams from a nearby chip shop when Singh approached them, shouting in an attempt to retrieve the stolen items. The situation quickly escalated as Singh physically assaulted the girls, with disturbing acts of violence and sexual misconduct.

Witnesses present at the scene described how Singh grabbed one of the girls by her clothing, forcibly pulling down her top and exposing her breasts. During this assault, he also repeatedly punched her in the head, causing visible distress and injury. When the second girl attempted to intervene and defend her friend, Singh responded with further violence by grabbing her by her hair and slapping her across the face. During this attack, he again exposed her breasts, adding a sexual element to the assault.
