DOMESTIC ABUSER JAILED OVER VIOLENT ATTACKS ON GIRLFRIEND
Jack Cole was found guilty by a jury at Swindon Crown Court after denying the allegations of abuse.The 21-year-old was convicted on four counts related to the young woman involved, including two charges of assault by beating, one count of non-fatal intentional strangulation, and a charge of common assault.
Three of these assaults occurred on 26 June 2022, while the fourth took place on 23 August 2022.
He received a prison sentence of 19 months on 11 August this year.
Cole, who resides on Duchess Way in Swindon, was also issued a five-year restraining order that prevents him from making contact with the victim or visiting her residence.
