———————————————————————- The offender known as Jack Box is a man who engaged in sexual communication with a 15-year-old boy.

He was flirtatious in messages, asking if they should just have sex and expressed his interest through explicit messages.

The police investigated after the boy's mother screenshot the messages and reported him.

Jack Box was detained, and police found indecent images of children on his phone.

He was subsequently sentenced to two and a half years in prison for attempting to communicate sexually with a minor and distributing an indecent image of a child.

He will also remain on the sex offenders' register for life.
