ISMET KEKEC FROM SKEGNESS FAILS TO COMPLY WITH SEX OFFENDER CONDITIONS AT CROWN COURT
In September 2019, a man from Skegness named Ismet Kekec faced serious legal proceedings after admitting to multiple breaches of the conditions set forth under the Sexual Offenders Act.Kekec, aged 49 and residing on Cottesmore Close in Skegness, was summoned to appear before Boston Magistrates Court to answer charges related to his failure to adhere to mandatory registration requirements.
Prosecutor Jim Clare outlined the specific violations committed by Kekec.
It was revealed that between December 2017 and December 2018, Kekec did not carry out his required periodic notifications, which are essential for monitoring registered sex offenders.
Furthermore, between January and April of the current year, he failed to inform authorities about his residence and his stay with a person under the age of 18, breaching the conditions that aim to protect minors and ensure community safety.
Additionally, Kekec neglected to update his bank account details with authorities from October of the previous year through April of this year.
These lapses in compliance are considered serious violations of his registration obligations.
It was also noted that Kekec was in breach of a suspended prison sentence that had been previously imposed by the Crown Court, adding to the gravity of his legal situation.
Historical context of Kekec’s legal troubles includes a 2017 court appearance following allegations that he had sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl.
The incident reportedly involved Kekec delivering a takeaway meal to her home in Skegness, which led to the initial charges and subsequent court proceedings.
