ISAAC CLULEY FROM AYLESTONE INVOLVED IN HORSE SEX OFFENSES IN LEICESTER

In January 2021, a disturbing case emerged involving Isaac Cluley, a 22-year-old man from Aylestone, Leicester, who has admitted to engaging in a highly inappropriate and illegal act involving a horse. The incident took place in Leicester during August of the previous year, and the details only came to light after a series of events that highlighted the severity of the offense.

Cluley was found to have committed the act of sexual intercourse with a horse, an act that is both morally reprehensible and criminal under the Sexual Offences Act 2003. The case took a significant turn when a friend of Cluley, who was borrowing his phone, stumbled upon a video that revealed the disturbing act. The friend was shocked and appalled by what he saw, and this discovery prompted him to confront Cluley directly. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the friend then contacted the police to report the incident.

Cluley, residing on Milligan Road in Aylestone, Leicester, appeared before the city’s magistrates’ court to face the charges. During the brief hearing, he pleaded guilty to a single charge related to the offense. The magistrates, after hearing the case, decided to transfer it to Leicester Crown Court, which possesses the authority to impose more severe penalties. A psychiatric report is now being prepared to assist in the sentencing process, which is scheduled to occur at the end of the month.

Prosecutor Stacey Mills provided further details about the case, explaining that the friend had discovered the video while attempting to seek help for Cluley, who was heavily intoxicated at the time. According to Ms. Mills, the friend used Cluley’s phone because he was concerned for his welfare due to his drunken state. Upon viewing the phone, the friend saw a video that appeared to show someone engaging in sexual activity with a horse. The video seemed to suggest that the person filming was also the individual involved in the act, possibly Cluley himself. Believing that this could be a police matter, the friend decided to transfer the video to his own phone.

Ms. Mills further explained that Cluley was so intoxicated that he was taken to hospital by ambulance. Afterward, the young man confronted Cluley about the video. Initially, Cluley denied being in the footage, but he eventually admitted to the act. He also disclosed that he had previously engaged in similar conduct and mentioned that the horse involved was located near his residence on Great Central Way.

Following this admission, the friend contacted Leicestershire Police to report Cluley’s actions. Cluley was subsequently interviewed by officers and fully admitted to the offenses. During the police transport to the station, Cluley expressed a desire for help with his mental health, citing increased alcohol consumption as a contributing factor. It was also revealed that Cluley had a prior conviction for a similar offense in 2016, for which he received a community order at Leicester Crown Court.

The offense carries a maximum penalty of two years in custody. Cluley’s legal representative, Kate Nield, stated that a psychiatric assessment would be completed in time for the upcoming hearing at Leicester Crown Court scheduled for Friday, January 29. Meanwhile, Cluley is subject to a curfew from 9 pm to 7 am throughout the week, as part of his bail conditions.
