A man from Shropshire has received a prison sentence of 28 months following his conviction for domestic violence-related crimes.
Ian Gill admitted guilt to charges of attempting to cause serious injury and making threats to kill.
During the court proceedings, it was revealed that in November 2021, the 27-year-old threatened a woman with a knife at an address in Ellesmere.
After the incident, Gill fled the scene but was subsequently located and detained by police officers.
His sentencing took place at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday, 28 January 2022.
