HARLEY TAYLOR
Harley Taylor escaped to Warwickshire following the violent incident that took place in Hampshire.
The incident occurred around 7:25 pm on January 19, when a 14-year-old boy was riding his bike along Portchester Road.
He was approached aggressively by 20-year-old Taylor, who then pushed the boy backward, struck him in the face, and kicked his legs, causing the teenager to fall.
Taylor continued to kick and stamp on the boy, even threatening to stab him and demanding that he surrender all his belongings.
The young victim handed over a coat, shoes, tracksuit, his phone, and Apple AirPods.
Taylor then took the boy's bicycle and ran away.
Police officers arrested Taylor in Leamington Spa on January 28.
He faced charges of robbery and attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, both of which he admitted in court at Portsmouth Crown Court in March.
On July 25, he was sentenced to four years and four months in prison.
During the sentencing, the judge highlighted Taylor’s lack of restraint during the attack, which was described as a 'savage assault' on a young child.
