FORMER DANCE TEACHER GUILTY OF SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Gregory Pichery, a dance teacher, has been convicted of multiple counts of sexual assault involving students.
According to police reports, he targeted two male students aged 19 and 20 during his time at a performing arts college in Leicester from 2004 to 2013.
In a later incident in 2019, another man came forward, alleging that Pichery exposed himself and pressured him into touching him at a grooming salon located in Oadby.
The verdict was handed down at Leicester Crown Court on a Monday, with Pichery, now aged 57 and residing in Blackpool, found guilty of four sexual assault charges.
Leicestershire Police revealed that the first victim reported that Pichery had also attempted to engage in sexual acts.
Another victim later identified himself, claiming Pichery sent sexual comments through social media and touched him inappropriately while he was a student at the same college.
The police investigation was further prompted in 2019 when a third individual reported being sexually assaulted by Pichery during a visit to the grooming salon in Oadby where he was employed.
