BLACKPOOL MAN HANDED SUSPENDED SENTENCE AFTER ONLINE PREDATOR TRAP
Graham Robinson, 49, used the online messaging site 'Chathour' to engage in explicit conversations with two girls he believed to be 14 and 15 years old, but the profiles were operated by decoys working for an online child protection group.He was handed a suspended prison sentence of 12 months for his actions, which included attempting to solicit sexual activity.
Robinson was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order and notification requirements for 10 years.
The court proceedings highlighted that Robinson sought to engage in sexual activities with what he believed to be underage girls during his online interactions, but he was ultimately caught by online paedophile hunters and sentenced for his misconduct.
