GRAHAM CARSON FROM CLACTON SENTENCED TO 32 YEARS FOR CHILD SEX ABUSE IN CHELMSFORD
In a case that has shocked the community of Clacton and the surrounding areas, Graham Carson, aged 68, has been handed a severe prison sentence of 32 years following his conviction for multiple counts of child sexual abuse.The sentencing took place on Thursday, December 8, at Chelmsford Crown Court, where Carson was found guilty of 18 separate offences related to the abuse of three young children over a period of several years.
According to court proceedings, Carson had systematically groomed the victims over a span of three years, beginning when two of the children were just 5 and 6 years old.
The abuse persisted until the victims reached ages 9 and 10, causing profound and lasting trauma.
The court heard detailed accounts of how Carson exploited the innocence of these children, subjecting them to sexual acts that have left deep psychological scars.
During the trial, Carson chose not to appear in person to give evidence in his own defence.
