PUBLIC INDECENCY CHARGE AFTER TROUSERLESS PRANK BY ‘PAIR OF IDIOTS’ IN CRIEFF
Graeme Elder admitted a charge of public indecency after he and another man exposed themselves "for a laugh." Elder appeared at Perth Sheriff Court and pleaded guilty to exposing himself in the back garden of a property in Crieff. The incident occurred on the morning of September 21 this year and was witnessed by three adults with a one-year-old child.
Elder said it was a "moment of drunken stupidity" and claimed he did not know anyone was watching.
Prosecutors accepted it was a prank gone wrong, rather than a serious sex crime.
Elder was fined £400, and a warrant was issued for a 38-year-old man suspected of involvement after he failed to appear in court.
The sheriff noted it was a stupid act but unlikely to have caused significant harm to the child.
