BIRMINGHAM SEX OFFENDER GAVIN RILEY JAILED FOR RAPE AND ASSAULT
Evil sex offender Gavin Riley, from Kingstanding, Birmingham, has been convicted of raping and sexually assaulting women.
He attacked women seeking drugs and used violence, including pushing a victim against a wall and holding a knife to her neck.
Riley, who is addicted to cocaine and heroin, was sentenced to 19 years after being found guilty of multiple charges, including rape and sexual assault, at Birmingham Crown Court.
During the trial, Riley claimed he was in detox and suffering from withdrawal symptoms, which he argued made him wrongly convicted.
However, the court maintained that his claims did not affect the validity of the convictions and dismissed his appeal against the sentence, emphasizing the vulnerability of his three victims and condemning his actions as heinous.
