GARY SKINNER SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES IN SKEGNESS AND LEICESTER
In a case that has sent shockwaves through the local community, Gary Skinner, a 45-year-old man from Simpson Court, Ingoldmells, Skegness, Lincolnshire, has been handed a substantial prison sentence after being convicted of multiple serious sexual offences.The conviction was announced on Friday, November 30, at Leicester Crown Court, following an eight-day trial that revealed disturbing details of his abuse.
Skinner was found guilty of engaging in indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14, as well as five counts of assault by touching on a girl under the age of 13.
These offences spanned a period from 1998 to 2009, during which he subjected three young girls to sexual abuse in Leicester.
The court heard how Skinner’s actions caused significant harm to his victims, highlighting the severity of his crimes.
On December 7, Skinner was sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison, a punishment that reflects the gravity of his offences.
