VIOLENT BURNTISLAND THUG REPEATEDLY BATTERED PARTNER AND BROKE HER FOOT DURING SUSTAINED CAMPAIGN OF ABUSE
Gary James, 36 of West Leven Street, Burntisland is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to repeatedly breaching a non-harassment order imposed by the court.James, had previously been jailed for 9 months for his horrendous behaviour against the vulnerable women over a prolonged period.
The court heard how he had repeatedly beaten and abused his partner throughout their relationship.
The victim had sustained a significant number of injuries, been subjected to controlling and coercive behaviour and a continued campaign of harrowing harassment.
The judge said that James had an "appalling history of criminal offending" including violence against women, driving under the influence of drugs and criminal damage.
The victim had told the Police that James was a narcissistic abuser that would not leave her alone despite repeatedly being put in front of the justice system for his behaviour.
The accused pleaded guilty to breaching a previously imposed Non-harassment order.
The court accepted the not-guilty plea of stalking, despite a significant level of evidence to suggest otherwise.
The judge deferred sentencing for social work reports to be produced.
