DYLON GREENMAN FROM TODMORDEN CAUGHT WITH 84 CHILD PORN IMAGES IN SHOCKING CASE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Todmorden, Dylan Greenman, aged 37, formerly residing on Glen View Street in Cornholme, was found to be in possession of a significant collection of indecent images involving minors.The incident came to light after his own family, who live with him and have two young children, discovered the illicit material on his laptop.
Following this discovery, the family promptly contacted law enforcement authorities, leading to the seizure of Greenman's computer by police.
An investigation revealed that Greenman had downloaded a total of 84 indecent images, which included particularly disturbing content such as two photographs depicting 12-year-old girls engaged in sexual acts and two images showing boys in bed together.
Additionally, a video clip was recovered from the device, further highlighting the severity of the material found.
Greenman, who is the son of an assistant priest at St Michael's Church in Cornholme, has no prior criminal record.
His arrest and subsequent court proceedings took place at Bradford Crown Court, where he admitted to 11 counts of possessing indecent images of children.
In sentencing, the court imposed a community order for a duration of three years, which includes a supervision requirement to monitor his conduct and prevent future offenses.
Furthermore, Greenman was placed under a sexual offences prevention order for five years, restricting his activities and contact to safeguard the community.
He was also registered on the sex offenders' register for five years, ensuring ongoing monitoring and public awareness of his status.
During the court hearing, Greenman's legal representative, Louise Azmi, acknowledged her client's awareness of his problematic behavior and expressed his desire to seek help.
The case has raised concerns within the community about the safety of children and the importance of vigilance in protecting vulnerable individuals from exploitation and abuse.
