A highly regarded medical professional from Salford has been convicted and sentenced to prison for the sexual abuse of female patients under his care.

Dr Wayne Sefton Davis, aged 67, was found guilty of engaging in acts that lacked any legitimate medical justification during invasive examinations of women, which took place during the 1990s and early 2000s.
