DONALD PLUMB SENTENCED IN PADIHAM FOR SEX OFFENCES AGAINST CHILDREN

In a case that has shocked the community of Padiham, Donald Plumb, a 60-year-old resident of Victoria Road, was sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty of multiple serious sex offences. The conviction was handed down at Preston Crown Court last week, following a lengthy investigation into allegations that spanned a decade, from 1982 to 1992.

During the trial, the court heard that the offences involved young girls aged between five and 15 years old at the time the crimes occurred.
