DEE LAWRENCE FROM GLOUCESTER CONVICTED OF MANSLAUGHTER IN TRAGIC STABBING CASE
In a case that has deeply affected the community of Gloucester, Dee Lawrence, a 32-year-old woman residing on Columbia Close, was found guilty of manslaughter following the death of her partner, Jack Delany.The incident took place at her residence in April of the previous year, marking a tragic chapter in the lives of those involved and the local community.
Initially, Lawrence faced charges of murder, and she denied any intent to kill her partner.
However, during the course of legal proceedings, she admitted to stabbing Mr.
Delany, asserting that her actions were in self-defence.

Jack Delany’s family paid heartfelt tribute to him, describing him as "a much loved son, brother and father." They shared that the past 12 months have been "harrowing and uncertain," highlighting the profound impact of his loss.
The family also revealed that they had extended hospitality to Ms.
Lawrence in an effort to support Jack during his relationship with her.
Sadly, this support was not enough to prevent the tragic outcome that ended his life.
