DECLAN ASHLEY WHITELEY FROM OSWALDTWISTLE SENTENCED AFTER SEXUAL ASSAULT IN LANCASHIRE
A man from Oswaldtwistle, identified as Declan Ashley Whiteley, was involved in a disturbing and violent sexual assault that left a woman traumatized.The incident unfolded after a night out, when Whiteley was invited into the victim’s home, leading to a series of aggressive and threatening actions that culminated in a serious assault.
According to court reports, Whiteley, who was intoxicated at the time, attempted to physically force himself onto the woman while she was in the process of changing her shoes.
The prosecutor, Denise Fitzpatrick, detailed how Whiteley tried to pull her onto her bed, but she resisted, refusing his advances.
Despite her refusal, Whiteley pushed her onto the bed and then placed one hand around her neck, attempting to kiss her in a forceful manner.
