LEVEN LABOURER GUILTY OF GROPING COLLEAGUE’S GENITALS AT RETIREMENT DO
Sheriff Mark Allan at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court found David Melvile, 62, guilty of sexually assaulting a colleague by seizing his genitals over his clothing at a retirement do in Fife.The incident occurred when Melvile touched the man's private parts as he stood up to take a photograph and infamously said: "You enjoy that, don't you?" Despite denying the assault, Melvile's actions and gestures were confirmed by the victim and police evidence.
Melvile's bail was continued, and he will be sentenced in November after background reports are compiled.
The sheriff placed him on the sex offenders register.
