According to court proceedings at Liverpool Crown Court, Madeley had initially extended an invitation to the victim to stay at his home on Egerton Street, Chester.
Madeley suggested they share a bed, with the victim sleeping fully clothed at one end of the bed.
The situation took a disturbing turn late at night when the victim awoke to find that Madeley had pulled down his trousers and underwear and was performing a sexual act on him without consent.
This shocking breach of trust and assault left the victim in a state of distress.
A struggle ensued shortly after the assault was discovered.

During the incident, it was reported that Madeley questioned his housemates about the situation, asking why the victim was trying to glass him during the altercation.
Initially, Madeley claimed that the sexual act was consensual, attempting to deny any wrongdoing.
However, his defense solicitor, Anna Price, later stated that Madeley accepted full responsibility for his actions and expressed genuine remorse and regret for what had transpired.
The court also heard that Madeley cooperated fully with the police, entering a guilty plea at the earliest opportunity, which was seen as a sign of his sympathy towards the victim.
Despite this, Judge Robert Trevor-Jones emphasized the gravity of the offense, noting that the victim was defenseless and that the incident would have a lasting impact.
The judge sentenced Madeley to 12 months in prison.
