CAITHNESS MAN DAVID CUNNINGHAM FROM THURSO SENTENCED FOR REPEATED SEXUAL ABUSE OF GIRL OVER 11 YEARS

In a case that has shocked the community of Thurso and the wider Caithness area, David Cunningham, aged 33, has been sentenced to a year in prison after being found guilty of multiple sexual assaults committed over a span of more than a decade. The offences, which involved the repeated indecent treatment of a young girl, began when she was just five years old, with Cunningham, then 17, being the perpetrator.
