CLACTON RAPIST TO BE SENTENCED TOMORROW
A RAPIST is due to be sentenced tomorrow for two brutal attacks.Darren Skinner, 26, of Weymouth Close, Clacton, has already admitted the rapes committed six months apart at homes in Colchester.
A spokesman for Essex Police said officers were first called following an attack on a 51-year-old woman on October 1 last year.
Skinner was arrested shortly after.
Specialist officers began putting together the case against Skinner and found a second victim who had been raped six months earlier in April.
The 31-year-old, who was raped on April 28, had been reluctant to come forward originally but chose to speak out after the second attack.
Skinner admitted two counts of rape in March.
