EASTBOURNE SEX OFFENDER DARREN BRADY SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS FOR ABUSE OF SCHOOLGIRL

In a significant case that has shocked the Eastbourne community, Darren Keith Brady, a 32-year-old man from Seaside, Eastbourne, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term following his conviction for serious sexual offences involving a young girl. The incident, which spanned over a period of time in 2012, involved Brady engaging in inappropriate and illegal sexual activities with a girl who was only 14 years old at the time.

Brady appeared before Lewes Crown Court last Thursday, where he was handed a sentence of 12 years behind bars. Detective Ward expressed relief that Brady had been brought to justice, emphasizing that the victim was able to avoid giving evidence in court, which helped her achieve some closure after the traumatic experience.
