DARRAGH MULLOOLY'S BRUTAL ATTACK IN EDINBURGH'S CRAIGLEITH NEIGHBOURHOOD

A harrowing incident unfolded in the Craigleith area of Edinburgh, where a man narrowly escaped with his life after a violent assault carried out by his former partner. The victim recounted the terrifying moments when Darragh Mullooly, aged 37, burst into their shared home and launched a brutal attack that left him seriously injured.

According to reports, the victim had been in a relationship with Mullooly for over four years and the couple shared a flat in Edinburgh. The relationship took a turn for the worse after the victim accused Mullooly of infidelity, which led him to leave his belongings outside their residence. Following this, Mullooly returned to the flat but found himself locked out. In a fit of uncontrollable rage, he managed to force his way inside, confronting his partner through the door. During this confrontation, Mullooly closed the door on the victim’s hand, causing additional injury.

The situation quickly escalated into violence within the confines of their kitchen. Mullooly attacked the victim with a weapon, stabbing him multiple times, including above the chest and on other parts of his body.
