DARIUS AGAR BARKING SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED FOR ONLINE PREDATION IN BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

Darius Agar, a 21-year-old man from Barking, has been handed a prison sentence of three years and four months after being convicted of engaging in illegal sexual activity with a girl under the age of 16. According to court records, Agar used the internet to pose as a 16-year-old in order to establish contact with the young girl. His actions took place between 2013 and 2014, during which he targeted the victim in Buckinghamshire. The deception involved Agar pretending to be a peer of the girl, which facilitated his access to her and led to inappropriate interactions.

Following his conviction, Agar was placed on the sex offenders register, a legal requirement for individuals convicted of sexual offenses. Additionally, he was subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) that will remain in effect for five years.
