BARKING MAN GUILTY OF SENDING SEXUAL IMAGES TO MINOR
A Barking man has been convicted of sending sexual messages and images to a young girl.Ricky Cramer pleaded guilty at Romford Magistrates’ Court to the charge of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
On May 31, the 32-year-old sent messages containing sexually explicit language and images to a person he believed to be a girl under the age of 16.
However, the account Cramer had been messaging was actually a decoy account run by paedophile hunters.
Cramer, of Harrow Road, entered the guilty plea on July 25.
Sentencing was then adjourned to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
The court's case highlights the seriousness of engaging in such conduct, and the conviction marks a significant step in the pursuit of justice for online sexual offenses involving minors.
