Daniel Vokes, 22, appeared at Weymouth Magistrates Court charged with possessing 165 prohibited images of a child, and one counts of making indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.
The alleged incidents took place between August 2024 and May 2025.
The severity of such images is ranked from A-C with A being the most serious category.
It is alleged that Vokes made 26 category A images of a child, 11 category B images, and 34 category C images.
Vokes, of Walker Crescent , Weymouth did entered a guilty plea to all of the charges.
The defendant has been released on unconditional bail and will next appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on March 2.
