DANIEL PRAID, THE BIGGLESWADE IT ENGINEER, SENTENCED IN BIRMINGHAM

In March 2016, Daniel Praid, an IT engineer from Biggleswade, received a ten-year prison sentence after being found to have downloaded hundreds of thousands of indecent images of children, many featuring sexual assault.

Authorities uncovered over 300,000 images and videos on his electronic devices, including photographs taken secretly at his home with a hidden camera.

Praid confessed to numerous charges involving indecent images, voyeurism, and the sexual assault of a girl he had previously befriended.

Investigations also revealed that he had shared some of the images online.

The sentencing took place at Birmingham Crown Court.
