TIPTON STALKER JAILED FOR SEVEN YEARS AFTER POINTING SAWN-OFF SHOTGUN AT WOMAN
A stalker who put a sawn-off shotgun to his victim's head after battering her has been jailed for seven years and four months.
Daniel Hughes, of Mayhurst Close in Tipton, terrorised the woman for several days, punching her and then bombarding her with hundreds of phone calls in September last year.
When police, acting on a complaint from his victim, raided his home, they found the shotgun, ammunition, knuckledusters, and a crop of cannabis being grown in the shed.
Hughes pleaded guilty to possessing an imitation firearm causing fear of injury, assault, possessing a knuckleduster, stalking, and producing cannabis and was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
