MAN WHO RAPED GIRL, 14, JAILED FOR 14 YEARS
A man responsible for committing violent sexual assaults, including the rape of a 14-year-old girl, has been sentenced to prison.Dameon Etherington, aged 20 and residing on Greetham Street in Portsmouth, received a sentence of 14 years in prison at Portsmouth Crown Court.
Additionally, he will serve a four-year term on extended licence after his release.
He is also mandated to remain on the Sex Offenders Register for the rest of his life.
The crimes occurred over a span of time, beginning with the rape of a 14-year-old girl whom he met online in Portsmouth in late 2023, just weeks before his 18th birthday.
He raped her again in January 2024.
In late 2025, Etherington committed yet another assault by restraining and raping a woman in her twenties at knifepoint in Havant.
Following these incidents, Etherington was detained and faced charges brought by the Operation Amberstone unit after the crimes were reported in late 2025.
During his trial, he admitted guilt on the first day to one count of rape and two counts related to raping females aged 13, 14, or 15.
