MAN WHO GROOMED UNDERAGE GIRLS ONLINE JAILED
A man who groomed two teenage girls online has been jailed.
Dale Lucas incited one of his victims, a 13-year-old girl, to engage in sexual activity with him, although they never met.
He messaged the girl and after forming an online relationship discussed meeting in real life.
The contact was only stopped when the girl's mother discovered the messages on her iPad.
He also sent graphic sexual messages to a 15-year-old girl and discussed meeting in person.
He contacted the girls in two different parts of the country between February and March 2017.
Lucas, 27, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to two years in jail at Reading Crown Court on Monday, April 15.
He admitted two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity at the court in Reading, Berkshire.
