TEENAGER EXPOSES HIMSELF AND POSSESSES CHILD ABUSE IMAGES — SENTENCED TO 14 MONTHS
An “utterly depraved” teenager who exposed himself to women and possessed indecent pictures of children has been sentenced.
Over the period of almost a month, Courtney Wingfield, of Hope Close, the Meadows, would ride his bike alongside women in Lenton and expose himself, sexually touching them on two occasions.
The 18-year-old was also found to have indecent images of children on his phone after it was searched by police.
Wingfield’s series of sexual assaults occurred between June 14, 2020 and July 10, 2020.
Appearing at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday (August 3), he was sentenced to 14 months in a young offender institution.
Wingfield pleaded guilty to four counts of indecent exposure, two counts of sexual assault, one count of harassment and three counts of making indecent images of children a previous hearing.
He has also been given a sexual harm prevention order and has been placed on the sex offenders register for ten years.
