COREY THOMAS FROM LLANDYSUL FACES SERIOUS CHILD AND ANIMAL PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES AT SWANSEA CROWN COURT

A 21-year-old man named Corey Thomas, residing at The Beeches in Llandysul, has been formally charged with multiple serious offenses related to child sexual abuse images and extreme pornography involving animals. The charges were brought before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court, where Thomas appeared to face allegations that paint a disturbing picture of his alleged activities.

It is claimed that on October 2, 2022, Thomas attempted to initiate sexual communication with a minor through online platforms, with the intent of engaging in sexual acts. The prosecution alleges that Thomas sought to contact a young person with sexual motives, which is a grave concern given the nature of the accusations.

In addition to the online communication charges, Thomas is accused of possessing indecent images of children. The evidence suggests that these images were collected over a period spanning from April 2019 to January 2023. The images are categorized into different levels of severity, with 19 images classified as Category A, five as Category B, and eight as Category C. These classifications indicate the increasing severity and explicitness of the content involved.

Furthermore, Thomas faces a particularly disturbing charge involving the possession of an extreme pornographic image. This image reportedly depicts bestiality, specifically involving a person and a horse, and was allegedly found in his possession on January 5, 2023. The case was formally brought before the court on June 12, and it has since been forwarded to Swansea Crown Court for further proceedings. During the initial hearing, Thomas was granted bail, allowing him to remain free pending future court dates.
