AYR MAN FACES SERIOUS CHARGES OVER INDECENT IMAGES AND ONLINE GROOMING
A MAN has been charged after allegedly chatting to an undercover cop posing as a young boy online and being caught with indecent images of children.
Court papers claim Hendren also attempted to cause them to look at a sexual image - allegedly sending an image of his penis at his address on Kilmarnock Road, Dundonald, between February 3 and February 13, 2023.
He faces a second charge of taking, permitting to be taken, or making indecent images of children at his home from February 16 to August 13, 2023.
Prosecutors allege that he possessed the same indecent images, this was from February 16 to October 12, 2023.
Hendren, who appeared represented by solicitor Steven Maxwell, pleaded not guilty to the charges during a brief pre-trial hearing at Ayr Sheriff Court.
Bail was continued and he will face the allegations at a later date.
