COLIN EVANS FROM ACCRINGTON SENTENCED TO 7 YEARS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT IN BURNLEY
In June 2019, a man from Accrington was handed a significant prison sentence after being convicted of a serious sexual assault.Colin Evans, aged 32 and residing on Fielding Lane in Accrington, faced trial at Burnley Crown Court where he was found guilty of one count of sexual assault.
The incident involved a woman who was subjected to a brutal and distressing attack within the town of Accrington, leaving her with multiple injuries that necessitated hospital treatment.
