COLIN ALAN BRIGNULL FROM CANVEY ESCAPES FULL SENTENCE AFTER CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CONVICTION

In a recent development that has sparked considerable controversy, Colin Alan Brignull, a 52-year-old resident of Dewyk Road in Canvey, was initially sentenced to 18 months in prison for his involvement in possessing and downloading child pornography from the internet. The case was heard at Basildon Crown Court on September 29 of the previous year, where Brignull pleaded guilty to four separate counts related to the possession of indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child.
