SWANSEA MAN ACCUSED OF MULTIPLE RAPES IN COURT CASE
Clive Leonard, 52, from Ty Derw, Furzeland Drive, Sketty, Swansea, is accused of committing serious sexual offenses on two men in Swansea city centre. The first incident, on August 26, 2021, involved Leonard allegedly raping a 19-year-old man after they encountered each other near a garage while both were intoxicated.
Leonard is accused of removing his private parts and forcing oral sex on the victim without consent, with the court hearing detailed descriptions of the assault, including Leonard's aggressive and gyrating behavior and the victim's feelings of terror and helplessness.
The victim also described feeling ashamed and afraid to face his family afterward.
The second incident, in May this year, involved Leonard meeting a 37-year-old man at a bar, then going to the victim's flat, where Leonard allegedly raped him despite being told to stop and the lack of a condom.
The court heard that the first man repeatedly denied that oral sex was consensual, and he stated Leonard was in control and did not listen to his 'no'.
Leonard denies three counts of rape, and the trial is ongoing, with Leonard not appearing to give evidence in court.
