In a disturbing case heard at Dunfermline Sheriff Court, Christopher Wilson, a 28-year-old resident of North Street in Lochgelly, faced serious allegations of assault against his partner.The incident, which took place on the night of February 11, has left the local community shaken and highlights the ongoing issue of domestic violence in the area.
According to court records, Wilson's assault was both violent and aggressive.
The prosecution detailed that Wilson, who had been drinking prior to the incident, returned home around midnight.
Once there, he engaged in a series of violent acts against his partner, beginning with seizing her by the neck and pushing her forcefully against a wall.
The assault escalated as he repeatedly punched her on various parts of her body, causing visible injuries.
Further reports indicated that Wilson once again grabbed his partner by the neck, applying pressure and making her feel threatened and terrified.
The attack also involved punching her in the head, which added to the severity of her injuries.
