'MI6 AGENT' PREDATOR GROOMED GIRL BEFORE TRYING TO GET INTO SPY BASE WITH KNIVES
Update 18/12/2025: Christian Sollitt, 46, travelled to Grimsby to sexually abuse a young girl has been jailed for 12 years and six months, with an additional extended term of 18 months on licence and placed on the sex offenders register for life.In addition, Sollitt was made the subject of a 15-year sexual harm prevention order and a 15-year restraining order.

A man from Keighley, armed and claiming to be an MI6 agent, attempted to gain entry to a major UK spy facility after grooming a young girl for sexual purposes.
Christian Sollitt, aged 46 and residing on Rawling Street, was found guilty of multiple sexual crimes, including taking indecent images of children, meeting a child following grooming, and possessing extreme pornographic material.
According to Humberside Police, Sollitt groomed the girl and arranged to collect her from school, then took her to private locations in Grimsby to engage in sexual acts.
Despite an alert for child abduction, he maintained contact with the girl.
The abuse occurred in 2018, and he was only convicted after standing trial at Grimsby Crown Court.
Previously, Sollitt had been subjected to a community order after he attended Menwith Hill near Harrogate while armed and falsely claimed to be an MI6 agent.
Reports from YorkshireLive indicated he carried a crossbow and machete when he drove to the spy base with his driver’s license and approached officers, claiming to be working undercover.
He also made untrue statements about having met the Queen and about halting nuclear power.
Police found a Samurai sword, machete, and crossbow in his vehicle following a search.
He faced charges of possessing offensive weapons and bladed articles, resulting in an 18-month community order including rehabilitation activities.
His sentencing for the sexual offences is scheduled for December 12.
