CARL JONES FROM LITTLE HULTON SENTENCED TO LIFE FOR ABUSING 11 CHILDREN IN SALFORD

A man identified as Carl Jones, aged 57 and residing in Little Hulton, has been held accountable for a series of heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse and grooming of young children over a period spanning more than two decades. The investigation, carried out by detectives in Salford, uncovered a disturbing pattern of offending that dates back to 2002 and continued until 2023, revealing the extent of Jones's predatory behavior.

Jones was formally charged with a total of 47 criminal offenses, which include multiple counts of raping children under the age of 13, oral rape of a child under 13, sexual assault of children both under and over the age of 13, engaging in sexual activities in the presence of minors, coercing children into sexual acts, and indecent assault. On September 9th, 2024, Carl Jones appeared before Minshull Street Crown Court, where he pleaded guilty to all the charges brought against him.
