STOWMARKET MAN SIGNS SEX OFFENDER REGISTER OVER IMAGES

A man who downloaded indecent images of children has been ordered to sign the sex offenders' register.

Before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday (February 9) for a plea hearing was Cameron Girling of Ipswich Street, Stowmarket.

He pleaded guilty to three offences of making indecent images of children, including 18 in the most serious level A category.

The offences date back to August 2024.

Girling also admitted attempting to engage in sexual communication with a girl under 16 in May 2024.

He will be sentenced during the week commencing March 16 after a pre-sentence report has been prepared on him.

Judge Samantha Leigh ordered him to sign the sex offenders' register.

He is on unconditional bail.
