CALLUM ROBERTS FROM HAVERFORDWEST DECLARED A DANGER TO YOUNG GIRLS AFTER SEX OFFENCES

In a recent court hearing held at Swansea Crown Court, a 19-year-old man from Haverfordwest, Callum Keith Roberts, was formally recognized as a significant threat to young girls following his admission to multiple sexual offences. The proceedings took place on a Monday, where Roberts appeared before Judge Paul Thomas for a plea and trial preparation session.

Roberts, who resides on Hawthorn Rise in Haverfordwest, did not contest the charges against him. It was confirmed that he had engaged in sexual intercourse and committed other sexual offences involving two girls, both aged 14. The court was informed that Roberts also admitted to taking indecent photographs of one of these minors, further compounding the severity of his actions.

In addition to the sexual offences, Roberts attempted to obstruct justice by making a false police report. He falsely claimed that the father of one of the girls had assaulted him, an act intended to divert attention from his own misconduct. This attempt to evade prosecution was also admitted by Roberts during the hearing.

Currently, Roberts is in custody as he awaits sentencing. The court has ordered a report from a probation officer, which will provide a detailed background assessment of Roberts before a final sentencing decision is made. The judge described Roberts as a danger to young girls, emphasizing the seriousness of his offences and the potential risk he poses to the community.
