COWDENBEATH MAN BREACHES COURT ORDER AFTER ASSAULT
A 27-year-old man, Bruce Millar of Main Avenue, East Wemyss, breached a court order by visiting his former partner’s home in Cowdenbeath after he had been assaulted.Millar appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and admitted to breaching a non-harassment order on June 22 at Craigton Place.
He contacted the woman at her home, despite the order.
Defence solicitor Heather Morrison stated that “He can’t recall what happened.” The court was informed that Millar had been assaulted and asked police to take him to the address in Cowdenbeath.
He was taken there covered in blood, and the breach was only identified later.
As Millar had been remanded in custody since July 6, Sheriff Robert More admonished him.
